Lockdown Composer 7.0 - Now With Freesound Integration

Lockdown Composer just became a whole lot PHATTER. It now includes access to Freesound, which has over half a million sounds in its growing database. Simply use the various upload icons dotted around the Studio to find your dream sounds.

Extensible FX Rack For The Player - Create New Instruments

The FX chain on the player is now extensible, just like any other rack on the master sequencer. Shape your sounds, wherever they originate from, and create playable instruments, with more intricate and in-place sound shaping capabilities.

Extensible FX Racks For The Drummer - Create New Drum Machines

Every drum on the drummer can now use an extensible FX Rack to shape its sound sample. You can also drop sounds from your local environment directly onto the drum edit panels, as well as the capability to drag and drop sounds from the slicer and the player. You can now also select sounds from the instruments collection or browse the Freesound library.

New FX Units

In this release, we have included some additional FX Units ... all with automation params:

  • AUTO-PANNER
  • GAIN
  • MID-SIDE COMPRESSOR
  • MONO
  • VOLUME
  • WOBBLE

We've also added a plug-and-play STEREO METER, which you can insert anywhere in the FX racks for monitoring.

SONAR Template

We have a cool new video, illustrating the workflow to create a TECH HOUSE tune from scratch. The tune that resulted from this video tutorial is now available as a template within the studio.
